encouragement

One of the things I always reiterated during the challenge workouts on Sunday with my friend Nick is that the workouts we were doing...they were open to anyone's fitness ability. You pick your own pace, you push yourself and you find what will motivate you. I could scream and yell at you, but at the end of the day, it is your choice to give it your all.

I noticed that we both were saying different things in our classes...this is your workout.

This is your health journey. One of my 31 things was to not compare myself and my journey to anyone else's. You can find inspiration in others and encouragement others, but don't get down on yourself.

This is your life, your journey, share it with others, ask questions...at the end, be encouraged. You are making good choices for your whole life.

you are magnificent...

I just heard that quote "you are magnificent" on that show America's Got Talent. I'm sitting in our little dining room and type type typing away. We don't have an office set up, but I realize that moving away from being right in front of the television does give me a bit more focus.

All challengers, next week at this time we'll be heading towards the end of the official 31 day challenge. You may or may not have checked everything off of your list and that's okay. I don't even know if I'll get to all of the goals that I wanted to do, and like I said, it's okay.

You are magnificent. You, just being you, are magnificent. There are so many times when others try and say things about us...or when our minds try to convince us that some lies are some trues. But at the end of the day, you have to be able to turn your ear and hear the truth.

You are magnificent.

Do you have an encouraging mantra that you like to repeat? Sometimes I have to tell myself 'you are strong and powerful' just so I don't forget how far I have come.

So, tell us what you like to say....and remember you are magnificent.
