31 things submission: Drew

  9. I'm actually just writing them down as I go, and typing them into the computer later on. It's easier than I thought it would be, and while the experience is a little embarrassing, it's actually already helped me make smarter eating decisions because I know I'll have to tell someone about what I eat.

  34. Hm. Apparently I've fallen off the wagon again. In my defense, I was out of town for a long weekend and wasn't at the computer at all. Same story as before: I eat basically the same thing every day. The only difference was that there were fewer vegetarian options in McCook, NE, so while I didn't eat any more in quantity, I probably ate less in terms of quality (e.g. Saturday's lunch was a convenience store burrito, a bag of Doritos, and a Coke Zero).

    Tracking food for the month has been helpful in that I have a much better sense of how I'll make the decisions to eat better. I didn't actually end up eating much healthier during the actual Challenge, but I'm hoping to translate my learning into better results moving forward. (Even if that means leaving behind the caramel whiskey bread pudding I had last night for Father's Day desert. ;)
