So I said I'd let you all into a little bit of what I eat on a "typical I planned my meals" type of day.
breakfast:
I start each morning off with a cup of light soy milk + shakeology. Shakeology is one of the only meal replacement/supplements that I would recommend. I add the cup of soy milk so I'm getting more calories. I'm not trying to drink this so i'm not getting my calories in...i'm drinking it because there are some 70 amazing ingredients, lots of veggies and fruit. (if you want samples, i got you)
morning snack: it depends on my schedule...i'll usually enjoy some fruit! but on tuesdays I don't have a morning snack b/c I teach a class in the afternoon and then have lunch afterwards.
lunch:
today's lunch was one of my favorites. i used some of my israeli couscous mixture (green onions, onions and tomatoes), put it on top of a salad...lemon juice, garlic salt...and TJ cilantro/jalepeno hummus. what what?
cup of cherries.
afternoon snack:
if i'm feeling hungry, i'll eat an apple!
dinner:
depends on what I feel like cooking when i'm home...either a thomas bagel thin and morningstar grillers...but i'm sort of feeling like a salad with salmon on top of it. we'll see.
I focus on making sure I get my fruits and vegetables....and enough protein to get through my workouts! and i'll probably have some evening snack of chocolate :) or more cherries!!!!!!
Oh I'd be interested in a sample. Always love finding new things to add more veggies etc into my day.

ReplyDeletebreakfast: banana bread shakeology. this almost made me hit someone it was so good. a little bit of oatmeal, natural peanut butter, almond milk, ice, shakeology. what what. i didn't want it to end.
lunch: isreali couscous. what what. that ish is the bomb.com. with a salad...and scrawberries, yes, scrawberries.
snack: scrawberries and four wintergreen lifesaver mints. i know. i told you i'd tell you what i ate.
dinner: haven't eaten it yet, but i plan on it! leftover pf changs frozen entrees, a salad.
late snack: cherries and 1 trader joes 100 calorie chocolate bars.
