sunday stairs....

Today we're going to run some stairs....we will run them fast, we will run them slow, but we will run them. We're supposed to have pretty nice weather....and hopefully we can enjoy all that spring/summer has to offer us.

The reason I wanted to do Sunday stairs comes from another challenge I was a part of in May...taking my typical day off and still adding something that will be healthy...if that's moving a little more, eating a little bit better...I have to take care of myself on my day off, too. For some reason on my day off, I take it WAY off....I don't eat very well, I watch A LOT of tv, and I just kind of give up...why is that? I mean, I know I need a break, but if I need a break from my normal routine I must be doing too much.

I want to find ways where I am able to relax throughout each of my days...what do you all do to relax during your days? Many of you are parents or full-time workers...or BOTH...or singles living in a busy city....or long distancers...but we're all just people....what do you do to relax?

  1. I sew or otherwise craft to relax! It keeps me on my
    feet and that act of making something is much more
    fulfilling than watching tv.

  2. I need to get back into knitting/crocheting again. I love getting lost in the rhythm you know?

  3. I craft too but mostly I think I like to read. When the kids are in bed and the house is quiet and Todd isn't home yet. I like to put my feet up and just read.
