What are some of the challenges that you face in the summer? How do you plan on preparing for them?
For me, I like to drink cold drinks more often in the summer...there's something beautiful about a diet coke. Then there's a little something magical about some sweet tea. And dang, can I tell you about this margarita from Don and Millie's?
I also enjoy going to parties and celebrating. There's always a number of things to celebrate in the summer, weddings, birthdays, the weather.
And you know what, I usually work out a ton more in the summer and boom, i'm eating my calories and then some.
What do I plan to do? I plan to plan. There ain't no way in hell i'm going to go through summer feeling all guilty and moping around. I'm going to celebrate summer for the season that it is....OUTSIDE of food.
I choose to be present to the varying temperature...and go outside, run a little bit more, sweat a little bit more and be okay.
I want to take photos of the changing season.
I want to make tea out of the mint in my garden and then I want to cool it and drink it as a reminder of the earth.
I want to relax more.
I want to remember what it was like to enjoy summer as a student...and relax. What about you?
